yes u need to appear for srm jeee for PG courses which is conducted by SRM universityuniversity.. exam location will be major cities of India. however you will get extra credit during counselling for securing gate score. if u have 50% in UG you can appear for the test.

You focus on jee  advanced so that you can get a good IIT seat with which you can aim your heights high and will have a bright future in it so you start your preparation  now itself and all the best for your coming exams

I'm sorry to say that, with this marks there is rare chance to get NITs or IITs with this stream. If you score 300-450 marks more, then there will be a definite chance to get an NIT college.
