I would advice that you should write both the exams as selection is based on your rank and it doesn't matter that how many entrance you are giving. The thing matter is that the rank you achieved or the score which ever is considered and yes it is feasible

As per your SC rank 9202 you can get your required stream(i.e ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING(EE)) in some of the new NITs only.In the prestablished NITs like NIT warangal,surathkal etc you can get only some low end streams like mining,metallurgy etc.
