Hello aspirant
hope you are doing well and safe. With reference to your query, I would like to clear the myths of streams impacts on placement which is quite in trend now a days . When their is a time of placements in campus in any college not only in amrita ,students sits together in placements and get same oppotunity companies dont care from which stream of btech you are ,you just need to clear all the rounds to get hired . Generally cse students gets high package because they are highly hardworking ,dedicated towards coding which shows myth that placements in ece are not as much as in cse . if you study well clear you data structures and core subjects you will definately get placed
Hope you found this answer informative. Best wishes for your future
Hi aspirant, since you have 2200 rank in your WBJEE exam so you can easily take admission in the colleges you have mentioned in the question with the branches you have decided so one thing is important in choosing your college among your prescribed colleges you need to remember first that there are two factors like;
College with your desired branch doesn't matter the which college you opt.
Secondly college according to your finance condition.
So it's on you whether you want to go with your desired branch in any of the college whereever you get seat or you may choose college on behalf of your financial condition.
Thank You.
Dear Aspirant,
SRM:-
Placements: There are 100% placements here. The highest salary package offered was 47 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA, which was provided by mass recruiters in our batch. Infosys, TCS, Google, Microsoft, etc., visited here for placements for our batch. About 20% of the students got internships from our batch. Roles offered here are developers, front and backend, managers, analysts, researchers, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities are excellent here, and the infrastructure is excellent. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. There is a library and full-time labs to work on projects. There are open workshops also. The food served in the hostel is somewhat average. Medical facilities are provided at a low cost in SRM hospital.
Faculty: Faculty members here are somewhat biased towards students of the same cultural background. A few of them do not even know what they are teaching. However, otherwise, they are good. The course curriculum is not relevant as in most of the colleges. Exams are decent.
DTU:-
Placements: Companies came to campus looking for software engineers, hardware engineers, analysts, research associates, technology consultants and data analysts, among other positions. Every DTU student found the placement cell procedures to be very helpful and simple. A good number of students were placed. Many good companies like Facebook, Google and Amazon visited the college for placements and offered the highest salary packages of 1 crore per annum. Tech, non-tech and core companies visit the college throughout the year. Almost 60-70% of the students get placed with an average salary package that ranges from 5-8 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of DTU is excellent. Some hostels and indoor stadiums will be developed and some are already being built. The sports complex is fantastic and has everything you could possibly need. There are no time restrictions, and you are welcome to visit the campus at any time.
Faculty: Faculty members are similar to those at any other university. Some are beneficial, while others are not. Even so, you must study independently to gain the necessary skills and information for the course. Every exam is now online however the evaluation was still done based on projects and vivas.

Good Luck!
See as you are in first year, you will need some time to understand the pattern and to understand the ability you should have in order to get a better CGPA.
As you are in EE I would recommend you to focus more on internals, numerical solving over the concepts. Learn theories as you can but always learn to get your numerical skills better as being a EE student the most required skill for you will be Network Analysis. So try to strengthen your concepts as well as your skills of numerical solving in order to get a better result.
Also you should study the previous year papers of EE for MNIT Jaipur and try to pick the trending topics and focus more on those as you will get benefit in getting a better marks.

Electrical Engineering is a good branch to consider for BTech. EE has excellent career scope and job prospects in India and Abroad in verticals of Industry, Academia and Research. However, the Curriculum is Tough and Course Load is considerably high and you should perhaps be ready to dedicate yourself throughout 4 years, for benefits.
