According to 2017 statistics if you belong to SC category then there is a chance of getting seat in this college.If you belong to 2B rural then there is chance of getting seat in EC and IS.

You have misconcepted, actually if your rank is below 90k i.e within the closing rank then you are eligible for taking admission in that college.Your rank describes that you deserve more better college you are looking for.

If you're talking about KCET rank, your chance for getting ECE, if you belong to GM, is less. The cutoff last year was 2903. And, if you have any reservation, you may have a better chance. You can check that here.
