My obc-ncl rank in jee is 85000,is there any chance to get engineering admission via Maharashtra cap round?.

Abhishek Roy 5th Dec, 2020

Yes, at a JEE Rank of 85000, besides having OBC Advantage, you may have chances to secure a seat via CAP Round in Maharashtra. Do keep an eye on the Counselling Dates and Procedure.

But Guess what, I would suggest you to take a drop. With JEE Mains 2021, around the corner, why dont you focus on working and revising for the next six months, engulfing both the phases of JEE Main. You just need a proper test taking and preparation strategy and trust me , you will see yourself in Top 30k Ranks.

what to do after 10th ?????Im confused

Neha samreen 13th Oct, 2020

Hello dear.,

There are two options for you i.e., intermediate (10+2) or diploma courses.

For getting admission into any higher undergraduation courses you must bave scored minimum of 65% in any of these study.

For studying intermediate it's basically upon your choice i.e., in which subject you are interested in. If you want to be an engineer., A programmer then choose M.P.C (pcm) or if you want to go into a medical field you can choose Bi.p.c (pcb). You can have the chance to choose  commerce also.

After this you can choose LAW also by giving an entrance exam or you can choose any degree of humanities if you want to apply for govt. Jobs for Group D posts etc.,

Hope you found this helpful. Any questions do comment below.

Good luck

What colleges can I get through JOSAA counseling with 90.92 percentile? please help soon.

theeanonymous 2nd Oct, 2020

Hello Pradeep,

It’s difficult to tell you the exact about your admission possibilities but as per the previous year cutoff as a general category looks like you may not get top NITs, but may have chances in other branches like NIT Durgapur ,NIT Hamirpur ,NIT Agartala etc or top IIITs & GFTIs however your chances may vary with your category and if you go through state quota you may have more chances. You definitely will have good option among private colleges though. Anyways attend the counselling and see your possibilities. To know your admission chances in JOSSA & State counseling you can use JEE Main college Predictor tool.

what is the difference between OU vs unreserved category in ts engineering admission

Animesh kumar 8th Nov, 2020

Hello aspirant,

OU stands for the people under Osmania University.

UR stands for Unreserved category.

For every state ,15% of seats are filled under AIQ and rest of the 85% seats are filled under state quota, and within this 85% state quota ,the candidates further divided as non- local (15%) and local (85%),

That Non local 15% seat allotment is nothing but UNR, where students don't have domicile of that particular state and no reservations are applied for that category and admission is done based on only Merit.

Hope this helps
