I am having home state quota also
Katapadi congrats for scoring such good marks and getting a rank in top 10000. With this rank, you can definitely get most of the streams available in the NIT of your home state. If you would have mentioned your home state then I could have helped you in a better way. You can also get some of the good branches in many of the other good NITs.
If you ask about the engineering physics then it is offered only by NIT Calicut as a 4-year course and by NIT Agartala as an integrated course. With your 9186 rank, you can get admission in both the colleges easily. You can check NIT Calicut last year cut-off with the link given below:
You can also check the cut-off all the NITs in all the branches with the link given below:
And as you have also cleared the JEE Mains cut-off so I will strongly recommend you to focus on JEE Advanced exam first and then later on college selection as this seat allotment will be done after JEE Advanced result which will be declared on 10th June 2018. And if you are able to clear JEE Advanced exam then you will get the opportunity to do engineering physics from the premier colleges like IITs.
Feel free to ask if you have any more queries. All the best!!
Thank you priyankk sharma
