If you belong to GENERAL category, getting an NIT at an NTA score of 77 (77 percentile that you mentioned) is quite improbable. 

You should expect a common rank list (CRL) of around 2,00,000 - 2,20,000 around at this score. You should look for good core

As you have not specified your category i am assuming you belong to general category. For general category as er last year cut off the first cut off list started at 94% and it closed at 91% so if you have above 92% i think you should get
