There's no such cutoff in india io pursue bsc forensic science. But some institutions such as amity or du conduct entrance exams for this. Rest, you can get admissions on the merit list. In general the criteria is 55%-50% in higher secondary. But the criteria may vary according to the College in which you want to take admissions. In Institute of Forensic Science , Mumbai, you need to have 85% marks for general category and 75%-70% marks for reserved category. Some Universities offering the course are -

* University of Delhi

* Karnataka University etc.,

Yes, you are available for Forensic science courses. You can do a B.Sc. in Forensic Science which is a  3-year Undergraduate course. After completing your degree, you can open your own forensic practice & forensic service offices. You also may employ in Forensic Laboratories, Detective Offices, Banks and other Govt. and private agencies.

But in India demand is bit less as there are few govt. organisations which gives the job that too after clearing their state level or Unioin level Exam.
