For admission in Galgotias....there are two way to get admission in Galgotias college ..:-

First is through UPSEE entrance exam ..and also GEEE. exam which is college entrance exam ......sec sec you can also get admission through management quota ...

So if you have any doubts with your rank in entrance exam ..go through management quota ....

As I know many people who go through management quota in Galgotias .....but through management quota may they charge additional fee ..

Galgotias University is considered an average university for just about any course. It's not that great but it isn't that bad either.

Some of the faculties are very experienced and helpful while some are not. You might have to study most of the syllabus yourself.

The infrastructure and facilities provided by the college are not upto the mark based on student reviews and the hostel facility is also poor.

The fees is not too high which is one of the reasons people opt for this university.

Some of the top colleges for microbiology are-

• St. Xavier's college, Mumbai
• Madras Christian college, Chennai
• Fergusson college, Pune
• Gargi college, New Delhi
• Elphinstone college, Mumbai
• St. Xavier's college, Kolkata

There are many more colleges that you can consider based on your convenience before you go for Galgotias University.

As you have scored 74.2% in class 12th. But it doesn't matter in the UPTU Counselling. If totally depends on your rank. But if you want to take direct admission in college then it may be useful. So you have asked  me about UPTU counselling. Based on your rank you have no chance to get a good government College. But as you mentioned that you can take admission in private Colleges also so I Will tell you about them. As your rank is not so good it is quite tough to get good College like GALGOTIA ENGINEERING COLLEGE GREATER NOIDA,ABES GHAZIABAD,KIET GHAZIABAD,JSS ACADEMY OR GL BAJAJ. If you are in general category it is very tough to get chance in these Colleges. But if you fall in OBC ,SCor ST you get more preference. So please mention your category also. So if you are in these category then you may have chance to get admission in these Colleges. These Colleges are too much good in terms of placement, studies and faculty. If your choice is CSE then you have less chance to get. But if you have any other choice like in any core branch (Electronics and communication engineering, Mechanical engineering, Civil Engineering then you have chance even when you belong to above category (OBC,SC or ST). As it also depends on cutoff list. The cutoff list depends on the number of students appeared in the exam and the level of paper whether it is easy, moderate or difficult. So I have mentioning the name of the Colleges where you can get easily :

1 . Inderprastha engineering college Ghaziabad

2. Krishna Engineering College Ghaziabad

3.IIMT Engineering College Greater Noida

4.ITS Engineering College Greater Noida

5.Sharda University Greater Noida

These are the Colleges where you can get admission easily but these are  not so good in terms of placement. So prefer first (GALGOTIA,KIET, ABES......) in the first or second round.Then apply these Colleges in your preference.

Total fee of Btech in Galgotias university is about 1,70,000 per annum and hostel fee is about 1,40,000 per annum(this for 3 seater room).In Graphic era Btech is about 220,000 per annum and hostel fee is about 83k per annum.Also Hostel fee depends on the choice of room. So total fee of btech is about 12-16 lakh for a good college comprising of everything you pay in college.It is mostly for private colleges .As we choose good government college it is upto 8-10 lakhs.
