hello i am sneha i will be answering neet 2021 and wants admission in goa medical college i have domicile of 15 years in goa but my caste certificate is from bangalore can i apply for state quota sc category seat? please reply soon and if i cant apply this way what is the solution to it?

rajeevanand843 28th Aug, 2021

Dear Sneha

The information which I have is that if you want the benefits of reservation for reserved category then you should obtain the caste certificate from the same state in which you are applying for otherwise you will not get reservation for that.

So if you want to get admission in Goa medical College with SC quota then you should have both domicile and castes certificate from the same state i.e, goa. You can use karnataka SC certificate in Goa.

So still there are many days before the counselling process so try to obtain SC certificate from the Goa state itself.

Otherwise you can get benefits of your sc certificate in Karnataka and with Karnataka domicile.

You can use our neet college predictor it will tell you at which marks you may get govt college. Link is below

I got 97.38 percentile in jee 2021 mains. can i get core branches in nits (not srinagar and seven Sisters n goa n pondicherry) I am opting for csc, ece, eee

Akash Singh 14th Jul, 2021

Dear Khushi,

First of all let me clear you that you said you are opting for CSE, ECE and EEE so these branches do not come under core branch. These are called circuital branches. Mechanical, Civil, Production etc. are called core branches.

Now coming back to your question, On the percentile you have mentioned, your rank will be somewhere between 26803 - 30130.

You can check your rank yourself by going through the rank predictor tool, for which I am mentioning the link below.

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

Please note that you might observe slight variation in your actual rank and your expected rank, Percentile vs Rank keeps varying every year depending on various factors.

Now as you have not mentioned your category so I will consider you General and your name suggests that you are a female, if not then kindly tell me in comment section.

With this rank let us see what are the best options for NITs with the preferred branches you have. Have a look below.

  • IIEST Shibpur(It's an NIT, don't get confused) - Electronics and Telecommunication
  • NIT Hamirpur - ECE + MTech
  • NIT Patna - ECE
  • IIEST Shibpur - Electrical
  • NIT Durgapur - Electrical

These are some best option for you on your rank.

To check about more personalised college prediction, you can go for our rank predictor tool. I am pasting the link below.

different law exams, colleges and fees in goa

Niranjana 15th Jul, 2021

Hello,

VM SALGAOCAR COLLEGE OF LAW

  • If you want to study LLB after you finish  school, the fees are lower, around Rs12,000 per year. This equates to around 12000 divided by 5 years = 60,000. This does not, however, include test expenses. Exam costs are around Rs2,000 every semester. Exams have a repetition cost that is precisely double what you pay each paper. The costs for doing LLB after graduation are about 30,000 each year.
  • When the application deadlines are announced, you must complete the form. After that, there will be an entrance exam. The candidate will be provided with all exam-related information. Fill out the exam and your name will appear on the merit list. Then just fill out the entrance form, obtain a duplicate of it, and send it to the college office.

GOVIND RAMNATH KARE COLLEGE OF LAW, SOUTH GOA

COURSE                FEES                                     ELIGIBILITY

L.L.M               39,512 (1st Year Fees)       L.L.B.

L.L.B              27,882 (1st Year Fees)       Graduation

B.A + L.L.B      14,446 (1st Year Fees)         10+2

  • Govind Ramnath Kare College of Law provides BA.L.L.B and L.L.B degrees to students interested in pursuing a profession in law at the undergraduate level. The BA.LLB and LLB programmes are five and three years long, respectively. The college holds an entrance examination to determine who is eligible for admission.
  • However, passing the entrance test does not ensure admission to the undergraduate programmes. Candidates who have been selected following the admission exam will be required to participate in a personal interview with the college.SC/ST applicants receive a 5% mark reduction, whilst GEN/OBC candidates receive a 45 percent reduction.

GOA UNIVERSITY, NORTH GOA

At the undergraduate level, Goa University provides BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, BCA, BSW, LL.B, B.Ed, and B.P.Ed programmes. Admission to these programmes is contingent on meeting eligibility requirements and passing a screening procedure. Admission to a UG programme requires a 10+2 diploma from a recognised board.

Hope it helped
