helo aspirant, there is very basic difference between both of them. gate score refers to the marks you scored in exam, while gate number refers to the rank you scored on the basis of marks.

You can apply. Conditions are that you will need to upload the certificate from the principal that you are student of that college and also clear the backlog by the time the admissions start.

You will be required to provide the provisional degree certificate issued by your institute or university upon completion of your graduation degree course. If you do not have the provisional degree with you or havent been issued from your institute, you can upload the final year marksheet instead.
Yes you shall be surely eligible for Industrial engineering courses MTech at NIT or IITbased on GATE Metallurgy Engineering exam scores.
You can also choose to appear for GATE ME paper which will be applicable to all core courses at IIT and NIT under GATe.

If you are already registered, you can use your same email-address or enrollment-ID. You can fill the GATE 2019 application form with the same email-id by entering your email address or enrollment number, password and security pin displayed on the screen.
