You have to a four-year degree to be eligible to appear for GATE. If you have a three year B.SC degree then you will not be abble to appear for GATE exam. To know the eligibility criteria, you can check the link that is given below.

Some corrections are allowed when the GATE correction window opens. For example, you are allowed to change details relating to Qualifying Degree and Year of Qualifying Degree. So, I think you shoud be able to make the corrections.

Among one of the eligibility criteria for appearing in GATE is a B.Sc. (Research)/ B.S. ( Bachelor’s degree in Science) degree. So you are eligible.
