Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering
hi,
see cutoff changes year to year and it depends on various factors like number of participants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, the stream of engineering you are going to apply, your category etc.
this year it is expected that cutoff score will increase, so from general category you can not get top 10 nits, however you may opted for north east nit, nit sikkim, nit harim pur, nit silchar etc.
see every year cutoff score changes and it depends on lots of factors like number of participants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix etc, there is number of students less for production and industrial engineering compare to other streams like mechanical or electrical or ece , so your have decent chances for newer iits and nits.
see candidates from any stream can write gate xe paper and it is easy to crack than other core subjects like mechanical, ece, electrical, however for iit or nits, you can not apply for mtech core stream courses through gate xe paper, but you may apply for mtech courses on interdisciplinary courses like engineering physics, polymer technology. gate xe is helpful if you look towards for higher studies like ms or phd.
mtech in mechanical engineering stream has below mentioned course in mnit allahabad,
M.Tech. Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing
M.Tech. Design
M.Tech. Product Design & Development
M.Tech. Prod. Engineering
gate score is mandatory for those who are in final year or passed btech course and do not sponsored by any industry or organization . apart from this mtech admission is given to below category candidates,
college teachers through the Quality improvement Programme.
to candidates serving in the Industry, sponsored by their employers.
you may follow the below link to know in details,

You may use Careers360 college predictor tool to know your predictable colleges

see the eligibility is you need to secure 50% marks in aggregate in your b.tech course. to apply in construction management your gate paper should be on civil engineering. according to previous years cutoff, the closing score for mtech in construction management was,
general 333
sc 234
obc 300
see you did not mention your stream of engineering, however for mit pune, eligibility criteria is aggregate of 50% marks in btech course, for coep pune, the basic eligibility criteria for m.tech admission is candidates need to secure 50% marks in b.tech course. so you are eligible to apply if you have valid gate score.
hope it would help.
see according to students review this year cutoff score has chances to increase compare to previous year, as for your score you may just cross the cutoff score, now at this score you have no chances for nits, iits, or jadavpur university or osmania university even for your category.
so you may apply for state government engineering colleges, also there is some institute like nits , vit vellore which has their own mtech entrance test.
you may apply for those exams also.
see cutoff score changes every year and it depends on number of participants, students category, seat matrix, number of vacancy in psus etc. according to previous years you have chances in iit roorkee, iit guwahati , however for psus you have less chances . but I suggest you to apply for all psus which recruitment comes.
