Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering
Dear aspirant,
It is not mark which gives you chances of getting into IIT but the rank. the rank depends upon the difficulty of exam and if the exam was difficult than your marks would be sufficient to get into IIT and you might even get a chance to interview in some PSU however if the exam was easy or moderate then the chances are that you will not be able to get into IIT.
This year the paper was moderate and hence the chances of you getting into IIT are medium.
Hope this helps. Thanks.
hi,
sorry to say at this score you have no chances for iits nits and top tier 1 university even for your category. , see cutoff score changes year to year and it depends on lots of factors like number of participants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix. so you can try in state government colleges once the gate results are declared.
Hello Prasad
Chances are bleak but still i will say that you can try in IIT BHU. I am again saying that chances are only 3 to 4 percent but still.
If you want old IIT's then you can opt for MS or wait till winter Session where you can apply for older IIT's with this Rank, with very less competition.
