see ecil (electronics corporation of india limited)mostly recruit computer science, electronics and tele communication, electronics and instrumentation candidates. however in every organization they also have some vacancy for mechanical engineers, but there is no surety that this year recruitment comes or not. you need to have rank with in 200 to get psu from mechanical engineering. so try to score above 60+ in gate exam.

There is no extra subject code for agricultural biotechnology in GATE exam. Both the subjects come under the subject code BT.

GATE 2020 for biotechnology will include

• Engineering Mathematics,
• Biotechnology,
• Recombinant DNA Technology,
• Plant and Animal Biotechnology and
• Bioprocess Engineering and Process Biotechnology...
