How to study chemical &ionic equilibrium for jee;I am facing trouble in this chapter

Ankita Behera 1st Nov, 2019

Hi,

Chemical amd ionic equilibrium is indeed a very important chapter and one which has lots of concepts.

If we compare both, chemical equilibrium is bit easier than ionic.

So start with getting a command over chemical first.

Go through the theory first and understand what you read. See how the formulas are derived and memorise the formulas as well as understand the derivation. Some problems need you to apply the derivation steps inorder to get the answer.

Take a standard book and start solving Qs. Be it easy or difficult solve all the questions and try to solve Qs of all types. Incase of doubt clarify the same as soon as possible with your teacher.

Same goes for ionic. But here you need more attention to remembering certain values because their application is important in the formula. Pay attention to the details and first always try to know what all data has been provided to you and what the questions askes you to find.

Solve as many questions as possible.

You can refer books like MCQ chemiatry, GRB, RC mukherjee especially for solving the problems.

All the best

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 30th Oct, 2019
Hello,

See, toppers change every year and the marks that they score is not a big thing.Marks scire cab be differed every year depending on the level of the exam paper. What you need to follow is the mindset and approach of the topper because this is the only thing that will benefit you.

I am providing you a link below of a conversation of one of the toppers Ameya Dravid who appeared for GATE Biotechnology in 2017. His All India Rank was 2 and he scored 948 and his GATE marks out of 100 are 84.02.

You can read the full chat conversation about his strategy and mindset form the link below :

sir, i have incorrectly entered my adhaar card number on GATE 2020 application form. how can i correct that? There is no option for correction ID proof detail in correction portal of GATE 2020. Please help me.

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 30th Oct, 2019

Dear Naveen, Aadhar card is not a mandatory document for entrance examinations or Academic admission procedures. So that way you need not be worried. But to be on a safer side, please reach out to the GATE helpdesk at: thegatehelpline@gmail.com (mailto:thegatehelpline@gmail.com) . During the examination time you can still take your Aadhar Card for verification purposes. You also can take either a Driver's license or Voter Id card for verification. Just write to the help desk please.
