The cutoff marks for gate is varying each year like jee advanced so that no fixed pattern should be there. Like the electrical 2019 question was so easy that cutoff was very high from last year. But on an average you need to have a score of about 375 ( as in 2018) for VLSI in nit suratkal.

cut off score depends and varies with the respect of  different streams and caste category. you did not mention any particular stream or subject in your question.

If you have asked to correct some details in your form by the gate authorities and you have corrected your details in the form then you don't need to email the same to the authorities.

However, if you have asked the authorities for some correction and then they have asked you for the documents, then you might have to send them the documents. In a normal case, it is not required to send any documents by the mail.
