Can i get fess reimbrusment for my MS in other countries if i get qualified in gate examination. If yes how much percentage i would get?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 24th Oct, 2019

Dear Jaya, Candidates who qualify in GATE are eligible for stipend only if they pursue Master's programmes in AICTE recognised Institutioms. It is not even fee reimbursement. And this is confined to India. If you want to study M.Tech abroad you do not get stipend or fee reimbursement from the GATE relevant authoritative body. The stipend that you receive will depend on the Institution that you secure a seat in the foreign University. You may be eligible for scholarships based on your merit but not fee reimbursement.

How to score AIR 1 for GATE ???

Atharv Mungikar 2nd Dec, 2019

Hello Harshal,

It is very important to score good marks in GATE and what you are going for is AIR 1. You need to relax, eat well, sleep well and have a lot of faith and confidence in what you are doing. Revise as much as possible. Remember, GATE Question patterns do repeat in all years so make yourself through with Previous year Papers. As they say that practice makes the man perfect, so you also need to practice a lot to crack GATE with a high score.

I hope it helped.

All the best.

My Btech-CSE completed with 5.89 CGPA in 2019. If I will have a valid GATE Score then Can I get Admission for MTech in any IITs?

Abhishek Roy Student Expert 22nd Oct, 2019

Hey!There

You need at least 55% or 6.5 CGPA in bachelor's degree to comes under elligibility criteria for Mtech from IITs..You have low cgpa in Btech ,so you seems to have less chance of getting seat in IITs for Mtech even if you have valid score in GATE..

Ask if any query.
