Hello Bheemaraj, there is no shortcut for cracking big exams like GATE, CAT, UPSC. You just need to study consistently each day and read through better study material. You need to just out in about 7-8 hours of planned study every day till the date of exam and that will be enough. The earlier you start the practice for gate, the best it would be. Don't just try to read everything, try to read little bit every day and don't leave one day's study to next because then it will keep piling up. Take about 7 hours of sleep to keep your mind healthy.

Hello Harshida, If you are looking for taking admission in M.E/M.Tech/M.Arch programs, then yes you need to have a valid GATE score in order to be considered for eligibility. You won't be able to apply for PGCAT if you don't have a GATE score. Other courses like MCA and MBA don't require GATE exam.

You can check the status of your application at GAOPS website. If your application says "under scrutiny" there is nothing to be really worried about it. The scrutiny process will continue even after the application portal has been closed. Wait until the scrutiny is completed on your application form. Only those candidates whose photograph/signature/documents need to be rectified will be contacted by the team. Or else you wont be contacted.
