see there are not a lot of people applying in petroleum engineering. and the recruitment for petroleum is not very large on PSU. but the oil sector like iocl, ongc, bpcl etc takes student through gate score. you should apply all of this psu'spsu's. for PSU recruitment alert

the last date for apply in ap pgecet is April 18 with late fee of 500. it is conducted for admission in mtech by adhra university. if u have 50% in graduation you can apply with out gate score.  u have 2 option either apply using gate score or apply

Hi Dinesh, the cutoff varies every year based on various factors like number of seats available number of test takers difficulty level of exams and category of the candidate etc. However going with the previous years cutoff, the chances are very less to very slim chances, as they expect ranks

I have gone through all the PSUs but sorry to dissapoint you, that there are no PSUs recruiting life science graduate based on gate score. So you can go for higher studies with your gate marks.

If you are in General Category then PSU's chances are nil. If your AIR would have been less than 350 then the chances would have been there.

Coming to IIT's, yes you can get into top IIT's except Bombay, Delhi, or even KGP and Madras. Other than these
