Do hpcet qualified students also have to fill the counselling form?

Tamajit Biswas Student Expert 19th Jun, 2019

Hi Vaishali,

Once the students have given their JEE and have got their results and individual ranks, they have to apply for the HPCET counseling registration 2019 which is going to be conducted in the offline mode. For the students who qualified the HPCET examination, they don't have to fill the counseling registration form and rather have to be present physically at the venue for offline counseling. 50% of the seats will be reserved for the JEE candidates and the rest for the HPCET qualifying candidates. Do the HPCET qualified candidates also have to fill the form like JEE candidates and pay the subsequent Rs 1500 fee?

Tamajit Biswas Student Expert 19th Jun, 2019

Hi Anubhav,

Once the students have given their JEE and have got their results and individual ranks, they have to apply for the HPCET counseling registration 2019  by paying a subsequent fee, which is going to be conducted in the offline mode. For the students who qualified the HPCET examination, they don't have to fill the counseling registration form but rather have to be present physically at the venue for offline counseling. Thus, HPCET qualified candidates don't need to pay any charges for counseling. 50% of the seats will be reserved for the JEE candidates and the rest for the HPCET qualifying candidates. I have got 36 Marks in hpcet can I get adm in jngec sundernagar . I m form obc

Aunali Bhujwala 18th Jun, 2019

Hi Shivam,

Unfortunately, the marks required to pass the HP CET for OBC category students to be eligible for counseling is 15%, which is 45 marks. Your score is not good enough to be eligible for the counseling program, hence you will not be able to secure admission in any college through the HP CET counseling.

Cheers.

I have score 84.5 in HPCET exam and iam of GEN catagoryand i have score 76% in 12th can i have any chance to apply for b.pharmacy?

Aunali Bhujwala 18th Jun, 2019

Hi Rahul,

To register for the counseling of the HP CET you need to score 20% in the exam and have a score of over 60% in your 10+2. 20% in the HP CET is 60 marks, and since you have cleared both criteria you are eligible to register for the counseling.
Please register for the counseling to see which branches and colleges you are eligible for, that will give you the best idea of your chances to secure a seat in B. Pharmacy.

Cheers.

I have 62 marks in hpcet exam... Can i get admission in government college in b pharmacy college plzz reoky

Aunali Bhujwala 18th Jun, 2019

Hi Aman,

If you belong to the general category, you have just made the cut-off to qualify for counseling in the HP CET, but you may find it tough to secure admission in a particular branch or college since your rank based on merit will be very low.
If you belong to OBC/SC/ST your rank will be slightly better and you may have a higher chance of securing admission in a college with a stream you want.
Since you have made the cut-off, register for the counseling so you can see the options available to you.

Cheers.

I passed my diploma with 75.9 % in govt. Institute . Can i get admission in govt. College to pursuing my beech.

rutikbhandwalkar777_9160161 Student Expert 18th Jun, 2019

Hello Ajay,

Your diploma marks are not enough to get admission in a government engineering college for B.Tech as cut-offs are high. You require 90% and higher to get admission in a government college.

I would suggest you to apply for Private colleges. You will get admission in a good private college based on your diploma marks.

Good Luck!

Hope it helps you.

For any further queries please feel free to comment.

Thank you.

Sir I got 95.4percentile in jee paper 2 , m I eligible for taking admission in hptu . I have not given hpcet exam

Akshat Kudariya 17th Jun, 2019

Hello Samiksha,

First of all congratulations for such a great percentile. Now let's come to HPTU, the admission criteria there is that they select 50% of their Candidate from JEE mains results and rest 50% from Himachal Pradesh common entrance test (HPCET). So for a candidate with such a rank it should not be that tough to make it to the college.

Best of luck, and do ask if you have any further queries.

I got 64.5 in hpcet exam for bparma 2019 . Can I get seat in government college .?

Manish Singh 16th Jun, 2019

Lovely

You have got 64.5 marks in hpcet exam for bpharma 2019. As far as I know, your marks are very low for you to get admission in any government college but dont lose hope. You can always apply for private Institute for bpharma.  Or you can appear for other states examination and study hard. All the best
