Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test
Hi Vaishali,
Once the students have given their JEE and have got their results and individual ranks, they have to apply for the HPCET counseling registration 2019 which is going to be conducted in the offline mode. For the students who qualified the HPCET examination, they don't have to fill the counseling registration form and rather have to be present physically at the venue for offline counseling. 50% of the seats will be reserved for the JEE candidates and the rest for the HPCET qualifying candidates. Hi Anubhav,
Once the students have given their JEE and have got their results and individual ranks, they have to apply for the HPCET counseling registration 2019 by paying a subsequent fee, which is going to be conducted in the offline mode. For the students who qualified the HPCET examination, they don't have to fill the counseling registration form but rather have to be present physically at the venue for offline counseling. Thus, HPCET qualified candidates don't need to pay any charges for counseling. 50% of the seats will be reserved for the JEE candidates and the rest for the HPCET qualifying candidates. Hi Shivam,
Unfortunately, the marks required to pass the HP CET for OBC category students to be eligible for counseling is 15%, which is 45 marks. Your score is not good enough to be eligible for the counseling program, hence you will not be able to secure admission in any college through the HP CET counseling.
Cheers.
Hi Rahul,
To register for the counseling of the HP CET you need to score 20% in the exam and have a score of over 60% in your 10+2. 20% in the HP CET is 60 marks, and since you have cleared both criteria you are eligible to register for the counseling. Please register for the counseling to see which branches and colleges you are eligible for, that will give you the best idea of your chances to secure a seat in B. Pharmacy.Cheers.
Hi Aman,If you belong to the general category, you have just made the cut-off to qualify for counseling in the HP CET, but you may find it tough to secure admission in a particular branch or college since your rank based on merit will be very low.If you belong to OBC/SC/ST your rank will be slightly better and you may have a higher chance of securing admission in a college with a stream you want.Since you have made the cut-off, register for the counseling so you can see the options available to you.
Hello Uttam ,
Jee main qualified students have to register in order to participate in the counselling procedure However the candidates who have qualified HPCE can directly sit in the counselling prrocedure and seat matrix is 50% for the Jee main candidates and rest 50% for the HPCET qualified students
Here I am sharing a link with you for more of you help
Hope this will help you in a good way and can ask for further clarification
Hello Ajay,
Your diploma marks are not enough to get admission in a government engineering college for B.Tech as cut-offs are high. You require 90% and higher to get admission in a government college.
I would suggest you to apply for Private colleges. You will get admission in a good private college based on your diploma marks.
Good Luck!
Hope it helps you.
For any further queries please feel free to comment.
Thank you.
Hello Samiksha,
First of all congratulations for such a great percentile. Now let's come to HPTU, the admission criteria there is that they select 50% of their Candidate from JEE mains results and rest 50% from Himachal Pradesh common entrance test (HPCET). So for a candidate with such a rank it should not be that tough to make it to the college.
Best of luck, and do ask if you have any further queries.
Lovely
You have got 64.5 marks in hpcet exam for bpharma 2019. As far as I know, your marks are very low for you to get admission in any government college but dont lose hope. You can always apply for private Institute for bpharma. Or you can appear for other states examination and study hard. All the best
