Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test
Hello Subhi Sharma,Himachal pradesh technical university conducts himachal pradesh common entrance exam (hpcet) every year for admission of students into colleges with various courses .HPCET has minimum cut off of 60 marks for general category. As you scored 75.5 marks you have fair chances to get into government colleges for b pharm.
Hope this helps
Hello, getting a private college is the only possibilty on the basis of JEE exam. THE STUDENT intake is 60 in AVBGIET and it is a government college too. It has not have any specific closing ranks even. You can apply for it and give some other options for which you are enough sure that you will get it. better not to take risk. look for good private college and take an admission.
they are goood enough to make a student capable to face the real world.
Hope it helps!
can i got admission in jn sundernagar with 81% in +2... i have a kota of freedom fighter
Yes surely you will get government college dear hope for the best. .
Hi Vaishali,
Your score is good considering your category. You should definitely try for Govt. College of Pharmacy, Rohru.
Hope this helps you out......
ALL THE BEST
Hi Amit,
Unfortunately according to recent trends the qualifying mark for the HPCET is around 20% which is 60 marks, so you may have just missed out on qualifying for counseling if you belong to the general category.
If you belong to any reserved category then the cut-offs is 15%, which is 45 marks, and you have made the cut for counseling in the HPCET and you can fill the counseling form on the website.
However your chances of landing a college with such a low score are tough, and hence I would recommend looking at other colleges and not solely banking on the HPCET for your admission.
Cheers.
Hi Amit, in any govt.colleges vacancy of the seats based on 12th circumstances, can't be told unless the whole counselling process is completed...In most of times, after the end of whole counselling procedure...no seats will be in vacany. It truely depends on the facts, that no.of merits passed out in that year through those exams...I hope you understand. BEST OF LUCK !
Hello amit, you have avery good grades in your 12 but your HPCET marks are not that great. I will suggest you to apply for goverment college under 12th marks instead of going with HPCET marks moreover I will also advice to keep a backup plan that is keep some private college as your backup plan.
kudos
Hi ! You have a decent marks in HPCET but you don't have a good percentile at JEE mains. That's why it is bit hard for you to get admission in government college with CSE. If you get also luckily, then you will not get CSE. With your rank, you may CSE but in worst government college. It depends on counselling procedure and cutoff. So hope you understand and best of luck to you.
