i have 305 marks in neet exam. can i get govt medical college seat at himachal pradesh in general category.

Kashish Saxena 5th Nov, 2021

Hello aspirant,

On the basis of previous year cutoffs trend, it is very difficult for you to get government seat for MBBS or BDS in general category in Himachal Pradesh. For government medical college you must score atleast 610+ marks in NEET UG exam. However you can get admission in private medical colleges and deemed universities both in your state and other states such as:

  • Maharishi Markandeshwar Medical College, Solan
  • NIMS University, Jaipur
  • Yenepoya University, Mangalore

But remember that cutoffs changes every year due to various factors such as number of students attempted to various factors such as number of students participated in counselling, number of students attempted exam, difficulty level of exam, reservations and more. For more college options at your score you can use our NEET UG college predictor tool too:

Im a Delhi student who completed 12th in delhi and live in delhi . I have ST certificate of Himachal Pradesh. Am i eligible for JAC delhi ST delhi region reservation or i have to issue my ST card from Delhi (Central) Govt.? Can someone tell me can it be done or i cannot get the reservation

piyush singh 6th Dec, 2021

Dear Aspirant

The thing which you have to do is check if the caste which falls under ST category in Himachal Pradesh also falls under ST category in Delhi too, because some castes differ from state to state. Also there is a separate Central Delhi list for SC category, so it's very difficult to say that your caste would fall under that list.

So your best option is to get a SC Certificate from Delhi.

Hope this helps

can i get mbbs in any medical college all over india with 380 marks in neet from aiq. I am from Himachal Pradesh and general category.

Hello Aspirant,

See it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the counselling is yet to be conducted and the cut-offs keep on changing every year but yes we can provide you the list of colleges that you can get based on previous years cut-off data.

So on such marks you have very low or almost no chances to get any of the medical colleges under state quota of HP. But on such score you can go for some Deemed Institutions through AIQ counselling, so as per the previous years data you can go for following deemed institutions through AIQ counselling :-

BVDU Medical College and Hospital, Sangli:- 311 marks

Institute of Medical Sciences and SUMH, Bhubaneswar:-360 marks

Sri Siddhartha Medical College DU, T Begur:- 328 marks

Vinayaka Missions Medical College and Hospital, Karaikal:- 257 marks

Krishna Institute of  Medical Sc., Karad:- 253 marks

Sharon Rose Student Expert 18th Sep, 2021

Hello,

In 2020 a candidate with OBC-NCL rank 25949  secured admission to Computer Science and Engineering in National Institute of Technology Hamirpur under home state quota in round 6 of JoSAA counselling. Considering the previous year cut off you have decent chances of getting seat in CSE in NIT, Hamirpur. The cut off changes every year depending on the total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.
