Which one is the top colleges of India offering MBA in HR

Akshay Kadam 27th Sep, 2017
If you talk especially for HR then XLRI is the best college in India. For getting admission in XLRI you need to give XAT which is itself conducted separately in the behalf of Xavier Association of Management studies (XAMI).

XAT exam is a little different than CAT exam. 2 papers are carried out in XAT exam with 5 sections in total. Paper 1 consists of quantitative ability, Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning, Decision making. Paper 2 consists of G.K. and essay writing. In XAT exam you are allowed to leave 12 questions but any question left unanswered more than that will also fetch you negative marks.

To clear the XAT exam you need to give proper attention to every section as scoring is the main goal and to improve your score you should attempt lots of online mock test which will help you in overcoming your mistakes and come up with a strategy to attempt your paper which will definitely help you in improving your marks and percentile. Also maje sure you regularly write an essay and get it checked for your content and grammar so that you can evaluate where you stand.

Some of the other colleges which are good for pursuing MBA in HR are:

  • MDI Gurgaon
  • Narsee Monjee  (Admission by NMAT exam)
  • IIM Ranchi
  • Xavier institute of Management Bhubaneswar
  • IMI Delhi

All the best for your preparations and exam!!

what is good branch in mba

Anonymous 7th Sep, 2017

It's not the branch which gets you more salary. Rather it's your interest which will get you farther in life.

Here are some of the branches of MBA in which you can think about pursuing your MBA course-

  • MBA in Finance
  • MBA in Health (Pharmaceuticals)
  • MBA in Consultancy
  • MBA in Information Technology
  • MBA in Telecommunications
  • MBA in Media
  • MBA in Services
  • MBA in Hospital Management
  • MBA in HR
  • MBA in Operations
  • MBA in International Business

and there are many more.

It is not about the best branch but if you have specifically no interest in any then you can follow your educational background like if you are from commerce you can choose finance which is the mostly choosen branch, or marketing if you have the convincing power etc.

You can even know the pros and cons of each branch you have interest in and then you can decide which way to go. Some may have intensive work pressure but high salary and others may have good packages but typically much stable jobs that you become stagnant at one point of time.

Choose your interest!

Good luck.
