The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) are the hub of management education in India. There are a total of 21 IIMs across the nation offering the management degree programmes. Candidates seeking admission to the MBA programme are required to go through a rigorous selection process which include appearing for the CAT followed by the WATPI/ GDPI process.

The Common Admission Test (CAT) is the first and the most important component to get admission to best institutes such as FMS Delhi or IIMs. In order to get admission to any of these institutes, you must obtain a good percentile in the CAT. However, scoring a mere percentile in the CAT will not give you a guarantee to get an interview call from these institutes as they have a very complex admission process.

These institutes give consideration to a lot of factors while giving an interview call to candidates. These factors include CAT score, Class 10, Class 12, and Bachelor's degree marks, work experience, academic, and gender diversity, etc. If you even score a great percentile in the CAT , this will not mean that you will get a confirm Interview call. However, if you belong to the reserved category, then there are good chances of receiving an interview call from IIMs and FMS even at a low percentile.

Therefore, the CAT score is not the only criteria but is one of the criteria for admission to these institutes. The marks obtained by you in Class 10, Class 12, and Graduation will play a major role to get a shortlist for the WATPI/ GDPI rounds and during your final selection. Therefore, you have good chances to get admission in FMS and IIMs subject to the condition that you must perform well in the CAT followed by the WATPI/ GDPI process.

You definitely have a good chance of getting IIMs. Your 10, 12 scores are remarkable and a pretty decent graduation score. You can get an IIM of your choice with a minimum 90 percentile in CAT. Please refer here for last year cutoffs:

And being in 2nd year is a bliss since yo can start preparing early. You can focus on your weak areas for almost a year before start giving mock tests.

According to the official placement report of IIM Bodh Gaya for the 2020-2022 batch, the median package offered to MBA graduates was Rs. 12 LPA. However, the median package may vary from year to year depending on various factors such as the economic scenario, industry trends, and job profiles offered.

IIM Bodh Gaya has a good placement record with a 100% placement rate for the 2020-2022 batch. The institute witnessed participation from various reputed companies across different sectors, and the highest domestic package offered was Rs. 40 LPA.
