If your question would be NIT Allahabad or Trichy , vs IIT Dhanbad, I might have answered otherwise.But in this case, my suggestion would be prefer IIT Dhanbad over NIT Kurukshetra.

dineshburuboyina2575 , I think IIT Dhanbad is best for ECE because I think Electronics and communication engineering is not  in IIT Palakkad there is Electrical Engineering.

And the IIT Dhanbad is already best for other branch also.
