Not all the IITs has swimming pools. Some of IITs like iit delhi, IIT Kharagpur, IIT roorkee, IIT kanpur and IIT Madras have swimming pools with lights and clean water. And it must be noted that during winters, swimming pools are closed so you cannot swim whole year.

There's nothing called spot admission in IITs. The one who gets the good rank, will get into IIT.
