Sir, Ive secured 63% in JEE MAIN 2020 Paper-1 held during Jan 20. But Ive secured only 39% marks in 10+2 exam. Recently Govt has removed condition of min 75% marks as eligibility criteria for IIT & NIT. In the light of Govts above decision, am I eligible for admission to BE or B.Tech with 39%?.

As per Government decision it has been decided to remove the 12th board condition for the admission process of JEE Mains and Advance. So now the eligibility criteria is only based on the JEE marks.

So you are eligible to get enrolled for BE/B Tech course in any IIT/ NIT

Opening rank means the student which get admission in that Branch in that particular college and theclosing rank means that the  last student get admission in that branch according to their rank in jee mains you get home state quota and other state quota...this opening and closing rank is useful

NIT surathkal is well established than IIT patna, as it is old college. But in recent year IIT patna has leaped very high. It has been will placed. I think both the college is good. You can chose anyone. You can look for your close proximity for chosing college.

As you have asked for mechatronics branch IIIT Bhagalpur is a good choice . It is a new III T but it will be good in future and placement. Mechatronics is branch which includes mechanical and electronics engineering. So it is a good choice . Hope it will help
