AISEESE provides scholarships for IITs/NITs/IIITs along with 50 ICAR colleges, GFTIs, state government universities and few state private universities. VIT and SRM are state private universities and AISEESE provides scholarship for those students who qualify in AISEESE scholarship exam. Here is the link to check the list of colleges
Well Kavitha, IIT Madras provides single occupancy rooms in girl's hostel. Mostly in all other IIT hostels, you need to share rooms at least in your 1st or 2nd year.
