All IIITs are Government colleges

So if you have to compare between IIIT Kancheepuram and CEG, then your best bet is to secure admission in IIIT. The opportunities for growth are better, and so are the facilities provided. You should however try to reach out to current students of both colleges to get a clearer view. 

Hello there. Since both are IIIT do they have maintained a standard which makes them one of the best IIIT. Coming up with the difference, their is not as such big difference between both the colleges. Both the colleges have a good study environment and for the placements, one need to maintain their CGPA. If you are able to maintain a good CGPA, then you can easily get placement as well.

I don’t know much about IIIT Bhubaneswar but from what I’ve heard and read, it’s a decent college with good placement stats.

As for IIITDM Kancheepuram.

Placement stats are same as IIIT Bhubaneswar.

It looks like you are interested in CSE you are interested in CSE, I would like to tell you few things.

First of all, there is no “CSE” in IIITDM Kancheepuram. The course here is “Computer Engineering”. What differentiates it from CSE is the fact that this course is more on the hardware side where as CSE is more on the software side.

In IIITDM Kancheepuram, you won’t be taught languages like Java, Python etc. Instead you’ll just be taught C and C++. Also, in IIITDM Kancheepuram you’ll also be having a taste of electrical part too. You’ll be taught Verilog and how to program a processor etc.

But, overall you’ll enjoy the course. The coding environment is good.

Coding exams go upto 8–9 hours :P Which is a lot of fun if you enjoy coding.

According to the website of IIITDM Kancheepuram, around 37 companies visited the college and the maximum package last year was 20lakhs. Average CTC was 5-6 lakhs. So you can move on with this college ahead.

First of all congrats for securing 29k rank . As per my knowledge students below 50k ranks are eligible for almost all top branches (it will be little tough if you are from general category) . So you have very high chance of securing good course in 2nd round of counselling else last round counselling is all yours :)

Offcourse you can opt for this college as it have very good placement record for all these colleges are above average and some reputed software giants also visit these campuses. Those willing to learn something out of the box will get opportunity here, as most of the above colleges have well equipped labs and innovation centres.

Yes nitika solanki, you can definetly go for it a sit have good placement and indutrial exposure so it will definitely helps you alot in overall development and it already got 69th rank by nirf so no issue regarding its academic  relations.

As the college started in 2015, therefore first batch would be passing in 2019. At the current moment the college has bagged good internships for students,  and also has a fully functional placement committee that is taking care of our college’s industrial connect and at the same time conducting mock exams and various activities for the development of students from all batches.

 I would prefer IIIT Sri City over IIIT kancheepuram. There are many reasons. First IIIT Sri City is now having a permanent campus of its own. Second , the coding culture of Sri City is better than that of kancheepuram. As you know IIIT Hyderabad is the governing body for Sri City.

Also the average package at Sri City is 8+ lakh package. Also if you are good in coding then you might also get around 20+ lakh package. 

So I would suggest to go for IIIT Sri City.
