With a rank of 982, the chances are quite low for admission across IITs and IIITDM, as there are only 105 total seats. However, how the other competetors in your category perform, will determine your admission. As per the seats reserved for OBC, you may get a seat.
If you want to be in rank list, you must score more than 90, now talking about your rank 982, it would get a bit tough for you to get into IITdm jabalpur ( last year it was something around 300, I guess )

Hii AB Shek.Hope you are doing good.The placements here are decent.Placements and internships are improving year by year.Around 85% students got placed this year.The highest salary was around 15 lakhs per annum,average was around 7 lakhs per annum and least was around 3 lakhs per annum this year.Hope this helps
