Indian Institute of Management Calcutta
In IIMC Delhi, the cut-off ranks for OBC-NCL category in 2024 were different for each course. For Advertising and Public Relations (ADPR), the closing ranks were between 63 and 832 across all rounds. This means the last OBC-NCL student who got a seat had a rank of around 832.
For other courses, like Journalism in English, Hindi, Digital Media, or Radio & TV, the closing ranks were also mostly between 200 and 1,000.
These cut-offs may change a little in 2025 depending on the number of applicants and available seats. If you're aiming for ADPR in IIMC Delhi, try to score a good rank below 800 to be on the safer side.
There is No chance of getting a seat With a CUET PG score of 83 in OBC category in the IIMC Delhi PR & Advertising course through spot admission since the past cutoffs for OBC were much higher.
In Last year, OBC spot round cutoffs near around rank 1077, and your score is very less than this rank.
You can:
Try other IIMC regional campuses
Look other colleges for similar coursed
Prepare again for this.
All the best!!!
Hello,
Yes, you can join IIMC's BBA course if you meet the eligibility criteria. However, IIMC (Indian Institute of Mass Communication) does not offer BBA; you might be referring to IIM (Indian Institutes of Management),which offer *Integrated BBA+MBA (IPM) programs. Admission is through IPMAT (IIM Indore, IIM Rohtak) or other entrance exams like JIPMAT (for IIM Bodh Gaya, Jammu)
Hope this helps you,
Thank you

Hi there
Among the best Asian business schools, IIM Calcutta stands out due to its emphasis on balancing academic rigour and relevance and retaining plurality and variety in form, substance, and technique. Some of the best academics India has produced in recent years have called it home. IIM C, however, does not provide a Bcom programme.
Dear aspirant,
As you have secured 94 percentile in cat 2021 and considering you are from sc category so let me tell you that the cut offs depends on various factors like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.
So accordingly the dynamics gets changed every year so you have the chances to get into this college as per the previous year trends.

Hey aspirant
These institutions, I believe, do not offer traditional master's programmes. You can choose between a diploma and a five-year integrated course.
Another option would be to look into some other good colleges where you could pursue your master's degree in mass communication. My friend earned an MA in Mass. Co. from Lovely Professional University and did well by being campus placed by ANI.
So look into some reputable institutions such as Lady Sri Ram College in New Delhi, Loyola College in Chennai, and Lovely Professional University.
I hope my response was useful!!!!
