Indian Institute of Management
Hi Aspirant
Your question is a little ambiguous as you have not mentioned some of the details so I cannot seem to understand what information you are exactly trying to look for.
You have not specified the particular IIM and since every IIM has different cutoff answering this question is impossible.
Moreover you have also not mentioned whether you have any previous job experience.
Mention these details in the comments section below and I will try to help you out.
Hey !
It totally depends upon your interest. After MBA from top colleges like IIM ,you will be placed in a private sector job with a handsome salary package of 10-12 lakhs with some perks. And the salary of government jobs can range from 20000 to 2 lakhs per monnth. But government job has their own perks like LTC , transport allowance , TADA etc. You can not compare the perks of these two jobs as government jobs have high perks.
But which one , you should choose , that should totally depend upin you.
dear candidate,
on the basis of percentile, at most you can get call from IIM but admission happens after gd-pi round only. also it depends on your course. Because even now, most of the student body at IIMs consist of engineers, to make the selection process fairer they have come up with the concept of academic and gender diversity. Some even allot extra marks for different courses, and all that is uploaded on their website. anything north of 90-92 percentile can get you call from baby IIM.
Dear aspirant,
12 th marks are considered in calculating the total score of an individual. You get points based on your 12 th score. Considering your 12 th score you will get hardly 2-4 points out of 10. The total score depends on various factors starting from 12 th mark, cat score, interview and all. After the total score it is decided whether the candidate will get a call from iim or not.
Hope this will help you..!!
Hii Divesh
IIM's have 3% of its seat reserved for a Differently abled person, and the percentile cutoff depends on the number of students through that DAP quota
But on a rough idea the cutoffs of the top IIMs for DAP last year were some were about 60-65 percentile
Thank you
