Hey Aashutosh! There is different eligibility criteria for different specializations. According to the general eligibility criteria the candidate must hold a bachelor's degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. In case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA) category, this is relaxed to 45%. The candidate may possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
Candidates appearing for the final year bachelor's degree / equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirement and are awaiting results can also apply. The candidate is required to have obtained at least 50% marks or equivalent (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/DA category) based on latest available grades/marks.

Study, Study and Study. No not that much. As you are in 1st year of your BBA program then it is good that you have already made up your mind. Just go through the CAT Syllabus and collect all the materials and give atleast 2-3 hours daily for the prepration.

After getting the call from IIM's the final admission depends on the Personal interview,GD and Academics. Various state Boards, CBSC and ICSC are allowed . One should pass 10+2 from a recognised Board of University.

Along with CAT score every college in which you apply prepare a merit list for the next round to call the students of interview based on your aggregate score on various parameters like 10th, 12th and Graduation percentage, Work Experience etc. whose weightage varies for all different colleges.

I think you may apply for IIM. Yes, I know that your mark and score are not good but give a try doing best what can and show the world you are much capable to others that feeling is felt really good and the percentile of IIM or giving CAT also help in so many places like if you may not select but have pretty good score then the company also see interest in you. So .give try.

Dear student, the top business schools in India require high percentile for all the categories of students as the competition is really tough. Being a PWD candidate, you must score at least over 90 and around 95 percentile to get into the top business schools like IIMs, XLRIs.
