what is the percentile that is needed to get admission in IIM for general category of students?

Akshay Kadam 6th Sep, 2017
Getting into IIMs is a little complicated procedure. Getting a good pointer does not assure your admission in IIMs but definitely increase your probability of getting admission.

Other than pointer there is different weightages in different IIMs for 10th, 12th and graduation percentage. Also for being an engineer or non

Shubham Garg 19th Aug, 2017
Yes most of the colleges take GDPI. Infact all the colleges take GDPI be it IIM or Non IIM. Some colleges might skip GD and have WAT but PI would be there in each and every college.

Ambika Barman 14th Nov, 2018

Hey Shiva!

You have decent marks throughout your past academic journey. So, if you have above 96 percentile, you can very easily make into the new IIMs. But, if you are aiming for IIMABCIL, then you need more than 98 percentile. So, work hard, rather try to score as much

hey there!.. I have scored 8.4cgpa in my 10th and 72.4%in my 12th. How much %should I aim for in my bachelors so that I can make it upto IIM

Himanshi Choudhary 17th Aug, 2017
See there's no specific criteria of academics which applies to all IIM's.
For example :- IIM Kozhikode and Indore gives good weightage to academics which isn't the case in other IIM's and B-schools.
My suggestion would be that you try to maintain 75% aggregate so that you will not miss
