Many students after Engineering prefer to do MBA. But the important shift is mainly from technical to management.

Also if you have aim to get admission in top IIM's or say IIM's then the following things are considered.

Because you've explicitly mentioned that your aim is IIM, I'll take it into assumption that you are only taking up CAT for the same.

Based on your academics, the chances are average to get into top IIMs for the ones academics matter. Unlike IIM B which is very strict in past academics weight age, some of the colleges/exams apart from IIMs you can apply and give less importance to academics are:

To be eligible to give CAT through which you can get admission in IIM's you need to score minimum 50% in your graduation that is Bcom.

Hello! According to CAT exam pattern, there are 3 sections, Verbal Ability, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning and quantitative ability (maths). What is the difference between PGP and PGDM courses?

PGP (Post Graduate Programme) as tt's a 2 year full time programme, and is equivalent to MBA. Institutes, which are not affiliated to any university and provide autonomous degrees offer PGDM/PGP, the college who are registered with any university Indian/foreign can provide an MBA degree to students.
