Yes Rakshith, you can get admission in IISc with 1650 rank in JEE Mains. the cutoff is generally AIR 250 for general category and up to 3000 for OBC NCL(PWD) category. There are many of my friends who got admission through JEE main rank.

To pursue PHD after 12th you have to complete your graduation from a recognised university and after that you have to complete your masters course. After masters course you can apply for PHD if you qualify the NET exam. The minimum qualifications for admission to PHD programmes that in your bachelors you have a minimum performance of 70% marks or 7 CGPA out of 10. Similarly in masters you have to score a minimum performance of 60% or 6 CGPA out of 10.
In order to get admission in IISC, the cutoff marks for shortlisted candidates in different categories in JEE MAIN are 310 (GEN), 250 (OBC-NCL), 250(SC), 130(ST). And the cutoff ALL INDIA CRL rank for shortlisted candidates in JEE ADVANCED are 220(GEN), 5000(OBC-NCL), 12000(SC), 38705(ST). This data may vary as this data is from past cutoffs.

Yes you can take a double major in chemistry and Physics but will not be able to complete it 4 years, need 5 years, since you will have to do two separate projects leading to two bachelor's thesis, one in chemistry and the other in physics. However, unless you can copy yourself, time warp make yourself speedy , it will be practically impossible to take a chemistry , physics double major off. Basically struggle is real to complete only one with the coursework and the project.

IISc stands for indian institute of science.The admission will be based on the result of JEE Main,JEE Advanced,NEET,CEED,UGC NET,KVPY exam scores,other national entrance test.IISc does not conduct any entrance examination for admission.Yes,you can join IISc in 2022 in undergraduation course after completing your class 12 in 2021.You can opt for Bachelor of science (research) program offered in IISc.For this you must have studied physics, chemistry and mathematics in class 12.The IISc Admission 2022 Application form will be released in February 2022.The last date to submit the application form will be September 2022.The date for the first set of admissions for (KVPY,IIT JEE Main,IIT JEE Advanced,NEET) will be September to October 2022.The date for commencing for the course is September 2022.
