I am in class 11 and want to pursue bsc in iisc can you tell me some basic tips

Nive 3rd Dec, 2020

Hello, There is 4 year BSC program in IISC. You can choose your specialization only during the fourth year of your degree. For admission you gave to clear on of the following exams after your 12th board -KVPY; IIT-JEE (Main) or (Advance);NEET. Since the syllabus all these exams are similar to your 11th and 12 the board, it is necessary that you have a clear understanding of basics and solve application oriented questions alongside. Focus on both 11 and 12th parallelly for a topic so that you have both foundational and in depth knowledge. You can visit this link to know about the admission process in IISC https://www.iisc.ac.in/admissions/faq/

Best of luck!

Hello Aspirant,

Its obviously IIM Bangalore. Because the IIM A,B,C has the high reputation for MBA and these three colleges have the first three NIRF Ranking 2020. I would suggest you to prepare for CAT and get through the seat for IIM Bangalore. The average salary is about 15 to 20 LPA.

Hope you get a seat in IIM-B.

All the Best!!

Shruti Smaranika 28th Nov, 2020

Hello aspirant,

If you want to pursue your career in engineering, then better go for IIT. This is because IIT provides all sorts of engineering courses along with the best faculty members providing the best lectures ever. Also, you can end up having placements from the top companies like IBM, Amazon, Google and many more. But if you want to pursue your career in research, better go for IISc Bengaluru. This is because this institute not only imparts the best education, also you ca end up being a researcher and can write a lot a research papers which will be recognized by the institute. Yes, placements do come but that are not as comparable with IITs.

Hope, it helps you.

i dont have obc certificate but i want admission in iisc, banglore is mains enough or i should write jee advanced 2021 what is the percentile required for admission in iisc i am studying 12th grade in the pandemic what is minimum rank required in advanced to get admission in iisc, banglore

Shrishty sahu 28th Nov, 2020
Dear student,
If you don't have an obc certificate, then you would fall in general category. If you wish to take admission in iisc Bangalore then you would need a rank under 250 in jee mains or a similar rank in jee advanced. If you score well in jee mains then you can get admission through jee mains also otherwise you have to do good in jee advanced.

will IISc accept NEET REPEAT SCORE

Rama Devi 27th Nov, 2020

Hello,

By applying for the application through your NEET ranking, you can get into IISc Bangalore via NEET too. They are asking you to get 60 percent marks to qualify for the interview. But I recommend aiming to score 70-80% as they combine the NEET score with the other interview score to be on the side of the wall. A score higher than 600 is good enough if you belong to the general group.
