How many marks in mains eligible for IISC Bangalore in general categories

Hey,

The basic criterion for admission to IISc through JEE Mains is getting a minimum percentage of scores.

  • 60% translating to 216/360 for general
  • 54% translating to 195/360 for OBC-NCL
  • 30% translating to 108/360 for SC/ST

However the cut-offs are way higher.

Hello there! 

Greetings! 

You can get admission in iiser as there's no upper age limit for that but you need to clear je advance for that , clearing just jee mains will not help you. 

Candidates will be admitted to IISER only through following three channels.

In IISc Bangalore, the fees structure varies as per the institutes from where the students are admitted i.e. from government institutions, educational institutions or private organisations and accordingly they have to pay the fees. Scholarships of around rs. 25000 to 28000 are also provided to the PhD. candidates and

Hello,

If you have cleared your 12th in the year 2018/2019 or appearing this year then yes you can appear for JEE Mains.

So check the eligibilty criteria for that.

for taking an admission at IISc you have to clear JEE Advance. Using jee main you can go for NITs,GFITS.

Hello Bharthi,

As per the records there was no such age limit for the jee main examination so you can participate in the jee main 2020 examination and also the IIsc has age limit for 28 years for PhD purpose . And they didn't mentioned about the others graduation

Hi,

There is no such age limit assigned for iisc BS examination though they will allot students based on their scores obtained in JEE Main, JEE Advanced and KVPY examinations for which there might specific age criteria.
