Hello candidate,
According to your marks you should be eligible for PSU and will be offered an interview chance. It will also depend on the post that you are applying for and the companies that you want to join. Also keep a track of other eligibility criteria of the PSUs such as age, marks, etc.
Follow the below link for more information about PSUs that take admission through GATE:

Hey, thank you for contacting us. Bsc Research is not equivalent to BSc Biochemistry. It is a part of it. B.Sc research means a degree in a bachelor with research program included. They do their degree as well do their research in their own field. It is like doing research on your honours paper. B.Sc biochemistry is like any other Bachelor degree. I hope this helped.
best wishes

Dear Madhavi, IISC, Bangalore offers admissions in its Undergraduate programmes through JEE Mains, JEE Advanced and KVPY. The Academic criteria says that you should have your 10+2 or its equivalent in 2018. Candidates currently in their 10+2 and likely to pass in 2019 are also eligible to apply. So unfortunately, you are not eligible unless you have appeared in KVPY-SA in 2017 and qualified for the fellowship.
