Hi student,
The admission into IISc will be done on the basis of merit list of the qualifying examination. The merit will be prepared on the basis of national level entrance exams. IISc offers admission to Bachelor of Science (Research), M.Tech/M.Des/M.Mgt, Ph.D/ M Tech (Research) and Ph.D (integrated) courses. IISc provide admission to UG courses on the basis of national level entrance exams like KVPY SA, SB, SX; JEE Main, JEE Advanced and AIPMT. To take admission into IISc, students have to appear any one of the national level entrance exams. The authority will release the cut-off marks category-wise for all the exams separately. The counselling for UG courses (JEE Main/NEET) will be held for the selected candidates in the month of June 2019. It is compulsory for the candidates to participate in the counselling process to confirm their seats in the Bachelor of Science (Research) Programme. The seats will be filled up based on the rank and availability of the seat. At the time of counselling, candidates have to produce their offer letter. For KVPY stream candidates, they also have to produce their provisional fellowship award letter.
Hope it helps.
Good luck.
