IIST offers the Undergraduate programmes as below
4-Year B.Tech. ( Aerospace Engineering ) 4-Year B.Tech. (Electronics and Communication Engineering (Avionics)) 5-Year Dual Degree (B.Tech. + Master of Science/Master of Technology)
As per the eligibility, Candidates must have secured at least 75% aggregate marks in the Class XII (orequivalent– Qualifying Examinations) Board examination. The aggregate marks for SC, ST and PDcandidates should be at least 65%.
The marks scored in the following five subjects will be considered for calculating the aggregate marks: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, A language (if the candidate has taken more than one language, then the language with the higher marks will be considered), Any subject other than the above four (the subject with the highest marks will be considered)

To take admission in IIST after graduation you have to give GATE exam for M.Tech as this institute offers Science courses only you should must be from science stream.
*Only Indian Students are eligible to get admission here.
JEE exam is important to get admission in Graduation level course as the admission in this institute is given on the basis of marks obtained in the JEE Advance.

you can do MTech in IIST after graduating in the field of Aersopace,Avionics,mathematics,chemistry,physics and Earth and Space Sciences.
In IISER you can do PhD in various fields, there are no MTech courses but dual degrees.

Hello, For admission in MSc Chemistry, candidates need to apply online by filling up the form.The shortlisted candidates are asked to appear for a written test or for an interview.Selected students are notified by the institute. The application filling would start from 12th April,2020 and would last by 30th April.The form would be available on the official website of IIST.The application fees is 600/- per department for general category applicants and 300/- per department for SC,ST,PD and women applicants.

see you need to appear in jee main and jee advance exam in order to get admission in iist. iist admission is basis on jee advance score , also the qualifying marks criteria is you need to secure 75% aggregate marks in 10+2 if your are from general category, for sc/st candidates marks criteria is 65%. now you need to secure the cutoff marks in jee main in order to qualify for jee advance exam. jee advance is one of the toughest entrance exam of india, you need to study sincerely now and should practice mcq questions. you may follow tata macgraw books for jee main and advance preparation.

JEST (Joint Entrance Screening Test) is an exam to get admission in Ph.D/Integrated Ph.D courses in the firld of Physics,Theoretical Computer Science, NeuroScoence, Computational Biology. IIST does not have a seperate entrance test, it accepts JEE Advanced, GATE, JEST and UGC NET as an entrance .

UGC NET is a National Eligibility Test, which is conducted nation wide to provide admission in most universities and colleges. IIST does not have any seperate entrance test and it accepts the results and gives admission to the students based on the scores of JEE Advanced, GATE and UGC NET.

NET (National Eligibility Test) also known as UGC- NET is the test for determining the eligibility for the post of Assistant Professor and/or Junior Research Fellowship award in Indian universities and colleges.
IIST offers admission on the basis of scores of national level exams for like JEE Main, JEE Advance, GATE, JEST, UGC NET etc. No entrance test will be organized by the institution for admission into the courses.
