IIST is an institute dedicated to Aerospace science. To get into IIST is something similar to getting into NITs or IITs. The institute admits students merely based on JEE Score. There is no college level exam for admission. If you have 75% in Class 12 and attended JEE Advanced, a rank list will be prepared based on the score. With the help of which the admission occurs.
JEE is conducted by NTA twice a year- January and April session. You have to first qualify JEE Mains to apply for JEE Advanced. And there should be atleast 20% (72 on 360 marks) overall and 5% (6 on 120 marks for each) in each subjects of JEE Advanced. The syllabus has chemistry, physics, mathematics. Once eligibility norms are satisfied you can apply through the website of IIST for admission.
