Hello,

The admission to Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram is based on rank list prepared involving those who applied for IIST and qualified JEE Advanced. There is no separate exam for admission to IIST than JEE Advanced. You should have 30% marks overall in Advanced as well

Hi Juluru,

The cut off for Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology Thiruvananthapuram for OBC category is 18% aggregate marks in JEE Advanced. Along with this you need an individual score of atleast 4.5% in all three respective subjects that are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Start date of registration: 3rd June

Last Date for registration: 17th June

IIST Admission rank list publication date: 19th June

Closing date for filling in the branch preference: 20th June

Congratulations first of all. For aerospace engineering, IIT Madras is ranked at top. You may check about it. After that, IIT Bombay is also ranked good for same course.

By far IIT kharagpur and IIT Bombay are considered the best aeronautics engineering colleges according to multiple surveys. Then ofcourse are iit Kanpur and IIT Madras. To be true prospect of aeronautics and aerospace in India is pretty low if you are not in one of the above
