For getting admission in IITB in aerodynamics the cutoff ranks odlf last year  are as below, you can get an idea form it .

General : Opening Rank - 1040  Closing Rank - 2053

OBS : Opening Rank - 703  Closing Rank - 1074

SC : Opening Rank

If you perform well in your IIT and do projects and other coding skills then you can get offer from Microsoft and Google but you need to maintain and minimum cutoff most likely 8 CPI to be get shortlisted for the written test once the test is over you need

You should note that IIT Bombay does not offer admission on the basis of JEE main instead it uses jee advanced rank.Here I would tell you the rank required in JEE advanced to get IIT Bombay.

For a OBC students a general rank under 9000 is must to get atleast

Admission based on the JEE Advance depends completely on the cutoff and cutoffs vary every year. You can check previous year cutoffs to get an idea as to what would be the safer score for admission.

According to recent DASA , SAT II scores are considered for NRI students to join IIT's.but you should most likely pay a higher amount of fees than a NON NRI's. NRI Students can also give JEE advance and if they clear they are elligible.

The difference between btech from IITs and from any other engineering colleges is that students get more exposure in the IIT to the real world scenario and best teachers are there to guide you.

You also should not forget about placements, because any day IIT’s placements are better
