I am a B.SC student of statistics honours. Please suggest me some procedure for preparing entrances like JAM,M.STAT etc.
IIT JAM is an entrance exam conducted for the admission to the postgraduate programmes offered by IIT’s and IISc. Bangalore. In order to prepare for the exam first you must make a time table which will have an equal division of time for the different topics from the syllabus. Preparing a time-table is a systematic way of alotting time for practicing the problems.
Practise with the sample papers- The sample papers contain questions from the different topics which will also give candidates an idea about the weightage of the different topics through the number of questions asked from each of them.
Join Mock Test: JAM is a computer based exam which will be conducted in two sessions. You can take as many mock tests as possible to prepare for the exam.
Time Management- Time management is an important factor while attempting any exam. This will be helpful in such a way that candidates will be left with extra time in hand where they will be able to go back to the sections where there are questions left out and complete the exam on time.
