Hey Aspirant !
Your question seems a bit unclear.
As far as all IITs are concerned, each and everyone of them are funded by Central Govt. and there is no involvement of any Private Institute or Organization howsoever.
Be it in any State of the India, the IITs are public autonomous Institutes of India.

I got 7.6 in 10th, 75% in 12th and right now Im pursuing bcom. How much percentile do I need to get a call from iims?

Hello Akshay,

As per the information provided by you, your 10th and 12th score are fine. Also i can say that as per the score till second year you'll score descent marks in graduation too.. So if i talk about new IIMs, IIT delhi, and DMS all these colleges have more or less same cut off. Since you are an sc candidate, therefore if you manage to score a percentile above 85, then you can secure a seat in any of these colleges very easily. So all the very best for your career..

Yes, I think your mark is not too bad but it not easy to get IIT Delhi even you crack the gate you may get good marks. So you may surpass the standard of IIT Delhi and belong to OBC category may help you it give you a small edge but if after that it is not easy job get and surpass the gate exam and get admission in Delhi. So be ready for hard work.

Please clarify what you wish to know. Without completing Btech successfully, you cannot do Mtech. Since you are talking about getting year back in Btech, this means degree is incomplete.

However, 8 CGPA in Mtech in IITs is quite a good grade. So, placements would be good

How many hours we need to study in class 11th for IIT-JEE preparation?

Depends upon you how much capacity you have to sit and seek knowledge. It does not depend upon how many hours you spend in studying , it depends upon how much did you actually understand when you learned certain topics . If you learn some topic say in the morning, have a habit of revising it at night once for at least i would say 20 mins . Revise the topics and you will never forget it . And also have a habit of solving numericals at least 10 to 20 in a day whether it is of maths , physics or chemistry , practice numericals daily without fail .

Hello,
If your question is having backlogs effects your placements, it is subject to the way you participate in the interview and your mtech performance. If you answer the questions during the interview like a pro, then fret not. You will definitely get good job. If you don't have a clarity about the subject and expecting a job in the world's topmost companies, then it is not fair to assume you are going to get a job there. If you are having backlogs then you should definitely be great during the interview.

For entrance to Mtech in any IIT they is common entrance test that is GATE.you can select any branch from your core subjects. The placements for IIT are with good packages and you can also go for PhD if u are interested.

Hello,
IIT Palakkad and IIT Tirupathi are the new institutes that have been established recently.Well it takes time for an institution to gain reputation and brand name.Same will take for these two IITs,IITs have their own brand name which helps them to distinguish from the other colleges and universities.Presently IIT Palakkad and IIT Tirupathi are mentored by IIT Madras.Not much can be distinguished between the two institutes on the basis of faculty,infrastructure,etc.Both are developing day by day.
The highest package offered to a candidate in IIT Palakkad last year was 16.75 lacs p.a,while for IIT Tirupathi was 24 lacs p.a
