Yes, a student after completing B.Sc (Hons) Chemistry can appear for JAM examination.
Joint Entrance Test for M.Sc Programmes (JAM) is a test for admission to M.Sc programmes offered by IITs.

Eligibility Criteria to appear for the test is
Candidate should have completed Undergraduation in a related subject.

LPUNEST ( National Entrance & Scholership test) is conducted to get the Study Grant, which amount varies to the programme for the students to study at IITs/ NITs/ IIMs/ NLUs/ IHMs/ NIDs/ IITs (IDC/DoD)/ IIITDM/ NIFTs. To qualify LPUNEST is compulsory for the students to get this benefit.

For admission into IIT, the Jee Advanced ranks will be considered and not your Jee mains ranking. The Jee mains AIR will be considered for admission into NITs and IIITs.
