yes of course getting admission in IIT doesn't have any thing to do with the language you speak ,in the interview they see the confidence attitude level curiosity and weather the candidate actually has that knowledge level to be an engineering student.

You can get good iits but with low cutoff branch so better you apply for you're home state iits you may get good branch there

All the IIT aspirants have to sit for JEE Main and afterwards, JEE Advanced. Only the top 150,000 scores in JEE Main will become eligible to sit for JEE advanced.
