Indian Institute of Technology
Hey Murthy!
IIT Kharagpur has quite a explicit infrastructure when compared to that of IIT Varanasi. It has huge libraries, laboratories, cafeteria, gym, Wi-Fi enabled campus, hostel, convinence store, etc,. Whereas IIT Varanasi has mostly the same except Wi-Fi enabled campus and convinence store.
JEE Main and JEE Advanced are accepted in both Colleges for admission. The total fee structure (4 years) in IIT Kharagpur is Rs. 8.34 lakhs and in IIT Varanasi is Rs. 8.62 lakhs.
The placements here are mostly equal. They have been rated out of 5 by the on-studying students of those Colleges. Both the Colleges have got 4.8 for placements. They get top IT and Core Companies like Infosys, CTS, TSC, Wipro, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Ashok Leyland, etc,. The median salary the former is Rs. 14.20 lakhs/year and that of the latter is Rs. 13.60 lakhs/year.
Hope this is helpful!
All the best!

Hello,
According to your rank it will be difficult to get admission in Top IITs with your preferred branch. Students whose rank is below 100 are usually allotted.

Hi Aspirant,
The National Institutes of Technology consider JEE-Mains marks for admissions. However, to get admissions into the IITs, you need to clear JEE-Mains and then obtain a very high score rank in JEE-Advanced. As the number of seats in the IITs is around 2500, you need to get a rank of below 3000 to be eligible for admission to the IITs.
Hi,
I would like to inform you that preparatory courses are offered by IITs which are for a period of one year. The seats are really very less for these courses. So there are extremely low chances that you may be able to get the preparatory course. I would suggest you to go for NITs through your JEE MAIN score or else take a drop for one year and give your exam next year as it will save one year of yours and you will be able to get a good NIT or IIT.
Admissions in the preparatory courses in IITs and ISM will be provided to the students on the following conditions-
After fulfilling all the JEE Advanced Eligibility Criteria , candidates who have been admitted for the preparatory course can also appear in the exam to be held in 2020. The council themselves select students on the basis of their ranks in JEE.
The process of filling choices in the application of preparatory courses in IITs is done through the same online portal only.
To be eligible for the preparatory courses candidate must have secured at least 65% in 12 th class (SC/ST/PWD category).
Dear Candidate,
Firstly a hearty congratulations on your achievement. There are chances for you to get into IITs. You can use our College Predictor Tool for JEE Advance Exam. CSE NIT WARANGAL:It is one of the best NITs in India. The placement in this college for almost very field is very good and CSE is one of the most popular Branch in this college.Placement is about 93-95% for CSE every year and it has a decent placement records which it maintains.Teachers are also very good and internships are offered in this stream.Top recruiting companies are Amazon,Flipkart,Facebook,Microsoft etc.Students gain a lot of proper education and knowledge after passing out from this college.
ECE IIT BHUBANESHWAR:It is a new branch in IIT BHUBANESHWAR.Before there was electrical and this branch had good placement and faculties. However it is still there but ECE branch first batch would pass out in 2020.So placements records are not very clear.Faculty members are helpful and qualified but i would recommend you to join Electrical in this college as this branch has decent placement and education.
So now it completely depends upon you,If you want to study CS then go for Warangal and want to know about electrical and electronics go for IIT.Make choice based on subject and not on college since both colleges are equally good.
ALL THE BEST!!!
hey!
IITs are considered the best institues in India for engineering courses. ECE in IIT bhubneshwar is worth trying as the placement opportunities are very good , around 80% with maximum package of 32 LPA.
IIT Patna also provides good facilities to students , good placement opportunities are there, average package goe upto 5-6 LPA in companies like Amazon, Microsoft etc.
But if you wish to job in both Electrical industry and software field then you must join ECE and if you have interest only in software then join CSE.
Thankyou
