what are the top colleges for iit

S. Saha Student Expert 15th Sep, 2020
There are total 23 IITs or Indian Institutes of Technology in India. Among them, few IITs are older and few are newly established IITs. The older ones have better rankings as their academics, Infrastructure and mostly the placements are extremely good.

Among the older IITs, IIT Bombay, Madras, Delhi, Kharagpur, Roorkee, Kanpur, IIT Banaras Hindu University Varanasi are some top rated IITs. These IITs are considered among the best and the cutoffs of these IITs are quite higher than other IITs.

IIT ISM Dhanbad, IIT Roper, IIT Bhubaneswar, IIT Goa are also some top rated colleges in India. IIT ISM Dhanbad and IIT Roper have been rated AAAA+ by Careers360. IIT Goa has been rated AAAA by Careers360.

I am taking drop for JEE Mains 2021, which book should I read to get 190+ marks. How many hours in a day should my number be 190+. I am a dropper will I get admission in IIT / NIT?

Ayush 15th Sep, 2020
Hello himanshu,

Hope you are doing well.

As per your question, taking drop is completely your decision. If you want to take drop then you should be clear about taking drop like, you should have that motivation and potential till the jee 2021.see honestly as per my opinion you should take drop only if you have your concepts cleared or during the duration you will clear your remaining concepts then only you should go for drop. Other wise your one year will be wasted.

For the preparation of jee 2021 you should prefer books like :-
1) for mathematics :-you should use ML khanna as I have also referred this.
2) for physics:-you should refer HC verma's book which will clear your concept in detail.
3) for chemistry:-you should use NCERT books as it will be enough for scoring the marks in jee

Also you can prefer NCERT books for all the subjects for clearing your concepts as NCERT Books have clear concepts which you should prefer. So doing these particular thing and if you referred these books properly then then you can score good marks.
And in the last you should do more and more jee papers for better accuracy.
For the preparation of jee you can visit :-

iit delhi mechanical engineering vs NSUT cse? I have interest in both. in which I have more paying job? my eyes are weak.which I should choose(future reference)

Rama Devi 24th Oct, 2020

Hello,

Between these two branches, cse of course had many more future options. As you might have heard these terms like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Science, Cyber Security, Ethical Hacking, Android Development, Web Development, Blockchain Development. You can see many other options as future for CSE. So CSE has more options when compared to Mechnical branch. But as you said you're having problems with your eyes so you can't pursue CSE as it involves sitting before laptop for studying/coding. So it's your choice of deciding to move with which branch. If you are good (as per health)  then you can go for Mechnical branch.

Revert back in comment section if you have any doubts regarding this.

iit delhi mechanical engineering vs NSUT cse in terms of placement and average salary. future aspects . in which I will be more profitable?

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 24th Oct, 2020
Hello,

Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT ), formerly known as Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT) is a state-level university is arguably one of the best college for pursuing CSE and it is in same level as IITs. So in my opinion if you are getting cse then go for it because the placement is unmatchable in nsut for cse. However if your interest is in Mechanical engineering then you should better take IITD.

I hope this helps.
